CrowdWorx benefits

When everyone knows a project will fail or will be late, no one likes to break the news to management. With CrowdWorx participants and project members have an incentive to do so. Trading gin CrowdWorx can be done anonymously. Purposeful manipulation by team members is usually removed from the forecast within a few hours or less. Eventually, those who forecast poorly – on purpose or because of true lack of knowledge – will automatically receive lower and lower weights in the CrowdWorx forecast.

Possible participants

Team members as well as knowledgeable non-team members can be invited to participate, as well as management. The only thing that matters is to get all the knowledge pieces from the people to the CrowdWorx system. The system will handle the rest.

Things to keep in mind

It will take some time until both management and participants will gain trust in CrowdWorx as a new tool for supporting project management. Participants should be encouraged to take part in CrowdWorx. In fact, it takes only a few minutes per day or per week – depending on how active a participants chooses to be – to help in the CrowdWorx forecasts
